Help Us Hit Our Goal: Addi’s Annual Blood Drive
We need your help! We are currently facing a severe national blood shortage, and hospital requests are outstripping the supply. Every 2–3 seconds, someone needs blood. On Saturday, February 7th, the Essex Fire Department is stepping up to help.
This drive is incredibly close to our hearts. We are hosting the Annual Essex Fire Community Blood Drive in memory of Addi (15A1). Addi is a lifetime member of our community Fire Family, my daughter and everyone's child. She fought a courageous battle against a mystery disease and severe blood disorders. Because of selfless blood donors, we were given precious extra time with her. Every year, we pay that gift forward.
We have 111 total appointments available. Will you help us honor Addi’s legacy and replenish the supply for others in need?
