ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION

Arbor Day is a yearly celebration that promotes tree planting and emphasizes the importance of trees and forests for the environment, wildlife, and human well-being. In Vermont, Arbor Day is celebrated on the first Friday in May. The Essex Conservation and Trails Committee often plans an event that includes a proclamation from the Town Selectboard.
